Me

"This is me"

My name is François Reynald.

As my first name subtly hints, I am French.

I have been working in the IT industry for over 25 years in various positions.

In most instances,  I have been frustrated by the slow speed of the delivery process and the quality of the result of software projects.

Delivering great software at a pace that meets the demands of the business is a rare experience. There is no set formula to achieving this but there are good practices that once adapted to the context at hand can improve the situation.

I want to share what I have picked up through the years as well as discuss new ideas on how to improve software productivity.

You can find out more about me here.

    Hi Francois,

I’m writing about your latest article on Technical Debt. I completely agree that there are several creditors to paying off the debt in an application, and often articles on this topic do not mention this. Have you ever considered writing a follow-up article on this piece that gives more detailed dive into who the different creditors are and what exactly they would have to pay off in a typical application that has Technical Debt? I work on putting together content for the site http://www.ontechnicaldebt.com – it aggregates blog posts, articles, white papers, and interviews from influencers and experts in the industry. I would be interested in publishing some of your content on our site (linking back to your blog) – let me know if you’re interested!

    Thanks,
    Alex
